Barbara Ann Eason of Whiteville, passed away Saturday, March 1, 2025. She was born to the late Russell Long and Carrie Lee King Long. Barbara owned and operated Alterations Plus in Whiteville for 31 years. She was a member of White Marsh Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Tammie Parker (Jimmy) of Whiteville, Daphne Burris (Mike) of Whiteville; son-in-law, Dale Kinlaw of Whiteville; brother, Rev. Russel Long (Betty) of Whiteville, grandchildren, Mason Kinlaw (Sydney), Hollie Bush (Josh), Steven Burris (Jasmine), Katie Prince (Clyde), Jared Burris; great-grandchildren, Zoe Kinlaw, Declan Kinlaw, Rowyn Kinlaw , Brynn Kinlaw, Emma Bush, Sophie Bush, Melanie Prince, Wyatt Burris, Ellie Burris.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Cecil Eason; daughter, Carrie Kinlaw; parents; sister, Betty Lee Long, niece, Pam Stacy.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2:00pm at Peacock Funeral Home’s Chapel with the Rev. Russel Long officiating. Burial will follow in the Nakina Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at Peacock Funeral Home.
