Ashley Kyle Greene, age 47 of the Cedar Grove Community in Cerro Gordo, went to be with his Lord on Friday, November 19, 2021, at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare in Whiteville, with his loving family by his side.
Kyle was born on June 26, 1974, in Lumberton. He was the son of George “Jimmy” Edward Greene and Wanda Mae Owens Greene.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 22nd, 2021, in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church Sanctuary, with Pastor Jeff Stocks and Rev. R.J. Hammonds officiating. Interment will follow in the Wade Greene Family Cemetery (Rough and Ready Road).
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 21st, 2021, at Worthington Funeral Home.
In addition to his parents, Kyle leaves behind his loving wife, Crystal Gordon Greene; two precious children: Peyton Greene and Alexis “Lexie” Greene; his brother, Wade Greene (Lorna) of Cerro Gordo; nephews & nieces, Troy Greene, Logan Butler, Lindsey Strickland, Shay Greene; special aunt, Pat Greene of Cerro Gordo; special cousins, Teresa G. Buffkin (Ricky) and Melissa G. Dial (Delton).
