Wendy Beking Barefoot 59, of Shallotte passed on November 20, 2021 in McLeod Seacoast in Little River SC. She was born November 6, 1962 in Portland ME, the daughter of William Beking and Betty Ward Beking.
She is survived by a daughter, Georganna Barefoot of Shallotte, a son, Chevy Barefoot of Myrtle Beach, SC; a grandson, Gavin Barefoot, a brother, William Beking II of Tabor City; her fiance and life partner,Buddy Hunt; three sisters, Denise Clewis (Joe) of Ash, Faith Beking of Nakina, Roxanne Coleman (Cameron) of Cerro Gordo; nieces and nephews, Daphne Walters, Ashley Chavis, Jaylyn Beking, Matthew Coleman, Josh Coleman, Michael Coleman and Jonathan Pierce.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Terri Beking.
A memorial service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Peacock Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Denise Clewis officiating.
