12/26/21 Sports Wrap Up
NFL: Yesterday two games were scheduled in the NFL. The Browns fall to 7-8 as they lost in Green Bay, to the Packers 24-22. The Packers have the league’s best record at 12-3.
The Colts surprise the Cardinals in Arizona 22-16 in the late game. Arizona is 10-5 and falls to second in their division.
The Panthers are hosting Tampa Bay right now on FOX. The Buccaneers are among the league’s best, sitting at 10-4. Carolina has lost four in a row and sit in fourth place in the NFC South.
Tonight is the Washington Football Team versus the Dallas Cowboys kicking off at 8:20pm on NBC. The Cowboys sit alone at the top of the NFC East with a 10-4 record.
Miami is in New Orleans Monday night at 8:15pm on ESPN/ABC. The Dolphins are having a good run at it right now, winning their last six games.
NHL: The NHL schedule hopes to resume Dec 28, all games for tomorrow night have been postponed. Stay tuned to CCN for the latest breaking news from across the NHL and sports world.
The Carolina Hurricanes are not scheduled to Dec 30. They will host the Montreal Canadians at 7pm.
NBA: The five Christmas games yesterday were a gift to us all.
The Atlanta Hawks lost to the New York Knicks 101-87.
The Boston Celtics lost to the Milwaukee Bucks 117-113
The Golden State Warriors beat the Phoenix Suns 116-107
The Brooklyn Nets beat the Los Angeles Lakers 122-115
The Utah Jazz beat the Dallas Mavericks 120-116
There are eight games scheduled today across the NBA. The Hornets return to action tomorrow night. They welcome a struggling Houston Rockets team into the Spectrum Center. The game is scheduled for a 7pm tip-off.
NCAA: Men’s Football
The Hawaii Bowl on Dec 24 was cancelled due to Covid-19
The Christmas day game was the Camellia Bowl. The Georgia State Panthers dominate the Ball State Cardinals 51-20.
There are no bowl games today, but resumes tomorrow with the Quick Lane Bowl. The Military Bowl with the East Carolina Pirates has been cancelled.
