1/30/22 Daily Sports Wrap Up
NFL AFC: The Bengals look to upset the Chiefs today at 3pm on CBS. The Chief’s Tyreek Hill was fined $10,300 for flashing the “peace/deuces” hand gesture to the Bills as Buffalo lost in last week’s game.
NFC: The 49ers fans will outnumber the Rams fans today at the NFC Championship game at SoFi Field in Los Angeles. The game kicks off at 6:30pm on FOX.
The winners of both games will move on to play in Super Bowl LVI (56) Feb 13, in Los Angeles at SoFi Stadium. If the Rams win, it would be the second time that a team played the Super Bowl on their home field. Amazingly, last year’s game was the first time that it had happened in the history of the league. Doing the math, that would make it the first time ever that the Super Bowl was hosted by the home team, giving me the opportunity to call it back-to-back.
Many news organizations are reporting that Tom Brady is retiring from the game after 22 seasons. Tom Brady has not made any public comment on the statement, but he told the Buccaneers organization he was nowhere close to deciding. Tom Brady Senior has told the Media that his son has not announced his retirement and when he does, he is sure that his family will know before anyone else. When I hear it from Tom Brady’s mouth, then it is only speculation. Stay with the Daily Sports Wrap Up for the up-to-date details on this story.
