Kathryn “Kitty” Carolina DuBoise Hinson, age 72 of Whiteville, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at her home.

Kathryn was the daughter of the late Bert and Sarah Alma Simmons DuBoise and the widow of George Wayne Hinson who preceded her in 1996; and three siblings, Orbie DuBoise, Charles DuBoise, and Kay D. Nealey.

Final rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at the Worthington Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Tommy Bryson and Reverend Jacob Cribb officiating.

Interment will follow in Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday at Worthington Funeral Home.

She is survived by four siblings, Paul William DuBoise of Whiteville, Linnie D. Braswell of Newport, Mary D. Stevens and her husband, Bruce of Whiteville and Dillon DuBoise of Seagrove. Kathryn is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
