Raymond Lee Creekmore Jr, age 63, of Riegelwood, NC, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Columbus Regional Healthcare, Whiteville, NC. Lee was born in Columbus County on November 6, 1958 to the late Raymond Lee Creekmore Sr and Carol Lewis Creekmore. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Nancy Minton Creekmore.
Lee worked at the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicle Call Center for several years. He was an Eagle Scout and a big UNC fan. He enjoyed working in his yard.
Surviving are his brother Joseph Richard Creekmore (Lisa) of Wilmington, Delaware, nephews; J.R. (Tara) and Ben (Katie), a great niece; Phoebe, step daughters; Renee Turner, Marie Ganey, Greta Ganey and Dee Horrell, and several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. The family wants to thank his close relatives; Ashley Porter & Sam Porter, for being such good friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Delco Cemetery, Delco, NC.
