Mr. Bruce Glen Womack 71, of Brunswick, NC formerly of Hope Mills, NC entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at Novant New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Friday, August 18, 2023, at 12:00 noon from Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1980 Mill Pond Rd, Whiteville, NC with Pastor Anthony Rowell eulogizing. Burial will be in Cherry Grove Cemetery.
Mr. Womack is survived by his wife: Mrs. Susie Hawkins Womack, mother: Mrs. Susie Chavis, 5 sons: Hasan Abdulah, Ahmad McBride, Nur Abdulah, Khalid Abdulah, and Shaheed Hawkins, 2 brothers: Victor Womack, Sr. and Larry Womack, 7 grandchildren, 3 aunts: Lola Wilson, Lillian Maynor, and Ruth Garner, one uncle: Wilbert Lilly, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
A viewing will be Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 2 to 5pm in the Smith Funeral Home Chapel, and again on Friday one hour prior to the services at the church.
