Jim “Jimmie” Dale Pait, age 69, United States Army Veteran of Wilmington passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023, at his home. He was born in Bladen County on October 5, 1953. Jimmie was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Alton Pait, one sister Brenda Brown and stepfather Ed Myers.
Jimmie leaves behind his mother Shelby Jean Myers of Franklin, OH, brother Michael Pait of Wilmington, sister Tammie Zygmunt (Paul) of Franklin, OH, and several nieces and nephews.
Jimmie loved the Lord and his family. He was an adventurous guy who enjoyed riding his motorcycle, NASCAR racing, golfing, fast cars, and scuba diving. His love of life and sense of adventure will always be remembered.
The family will receive friends on Friday, September 8, 2023 from 1-2 pm at Bladen Gaskins Funeral Home in Elizabethtown followed by a funeral service at 2 pm with the Reverend Charlie Tatum officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Community Baptist Church Cemetery in Bladenboro.
