March 30, 1958 ~ September 28, 2023 (age 65)
Terry Wayne Watson, a beloved husband, Dad, Poppy and friend, went to be with his Lord and Savior at the age of 65 on Thursday, September 28 with his loving family by his side at MUSC Charleston.
Wayne was an employee at NCDOT in Whiteville for 16 years. He and his beloved wife Amy, have owned and operated Amy’s Academy of Dance Arts in Chadbourn and Lumberton for 33 years. He loved his work and dance families dearly.
Wayne was born March 30, 1958, in Columbus County, to the late Will and Irene Watson.
Celebration of life service will be held at Chadbourn Pentecostal Holiness Church in the Life Center at 3:00, with Graveside to follow at the Chadbourn Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Amy S. Watson of the home; children, Brandy Burge (Steven) of Evergreen, Ethan Watson (fiancé, Kasey Collins) of Evergreen; grandchildren, Victoria and Case Burge, and his sister Faye Williamson (Tony) of Whiteville.
