Josephine ” Jo” Hammond age 100, died Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in the Loris Rehab and Nursing Center, Loris, SC.
Born in Marion County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Oliver Brown and the late Mattie Collins Brown. She is also predeceased by husband, Thelbert Hammond; sisters, Jean Powers, June Wilkes, and Ethel Hammond.
She is survived by 11 nieces and nephews, and a brother in law, Ed Powers.
Graveside visitation will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 1:30 PM in the Spring Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, with burial following at 2:00 PM.
