Bowing in humbled submission to the will of the Master Architect God our Father, Mr. Willie Long Jr. is now resting in paradise.
Mr. Long put down the cares of this life on Wednesday, December 27, 2023, while resting in his home in Riegelwood, NC.
Services to honor this loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend will begin on Friday, January 5, 2023 with hours of visiting and reflecting from 4pm until 6pm, as Mr. Long lies in peaceful repose in Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church in Riegelwood, NC. Saturday, January 6, 2023 commencing at 1pm as a Celebration of Life Ceremony at Pleasant Union Missionary Baptist Church in Riegelwood, NC.
Following the services in the house of worship, Mr. Long’s earthen vessel along with his adored family, will be escorted to the church cemetery for Committal Rites.
The family is receiving guests at 627 Bowen Blanks Dr. Riegelwood, NC, E.M. Matthews and the staff of Majestic Funeral Homes are serving the Long and connected families with each memorable desire during this time.
