Ronald “Rooster” Ray Cribb, 61, of Nakina, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, while in his home.
Ronald was born on June 29, 1962, in Loris, SC. He is preceded in death by his father, Ed Ray Cribb; his son, Kevin Ray Cribb; granddaughter, Peyton Huggins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Cribb Family Cemetery (Alton Singletary Road, Whiteville). Pastor Joey Brown will officiate.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, at Worthington Funeral Home.
The surviving family includes his children, Christy Renee Cribb, Karrie Renee Mitchell (John); his mother, Louise Carroll Cribb; girlfriend, Joann Guyton; step-daughter, Nancy Long; siblings, Kenneth Dale Cribb (Susie), Jimmy Jerome Cribb (Jamesie), Donna Cribb Brown (Joey), Johnnie Edmund Cribb (Emily); grandchildren, Maranda Hilbourn, Alyssa Huggins, Ayden Huggins, Ryder Mitchell, Taylon Mitchell; step-grandchildren, Colby Jernigan, Austin Jernigan, Brittany Benson; great-grandchild, Saige Lillian Marshall; host of loving nieces and nephews.
