Mr. Paul Long aka Paul Ford 65, of Whiteville, NC exchanged this life for a home in glory on Friday, February 2, 2024. He was the son of Ms. Mable Long and the late Mr. Maulton Powers. Paul was blessed to be raised by the late Mr. Wallace Ford and Mrs. Lydianna Ford of Whiteville, NC.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 12:00 noon from Union Chapel Freewill Baptist Church 300 East Mill Street, Whiteville, NC where the pastor is Pastor Ricky McLean, Jr.
Paul is survived by his mother: Mabel Long, 3 sisters: Henrietta Carter, Lillie Mae Ford Smith, and Elaine Powers, 5 brothers: James Long, Carnell Woods, Darnell Ford, Tommy Woods, and Maulton Powers, Jr., 2 stepchildren: Michah R. Gibson, Sr., and Mitchell Onley, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
The family will receive friends during the viewing on Saturday from 11to 11:50am at Union Chapel Freewill Baptist Church.
A facial covering is required at the viewing and service. A service of Smith Funeral Home Inc, of Whiteville, NC.
