Bobby Allen, 78, of Clarendon, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at his residence.
Bobby was born on January 15, 1946. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Geneva Duncan, and his brother, Billy Allen.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at Worthington Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Warfe and Pastor Brad Hardwick officiating. Burial will follow in the Union Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will have a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening, at the funeral home.
Bobby was a member of Welcome Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church in Cribbtown.
Bobby leaves behind his loving wife, Janice Bowen Allen; four children: Teresa A. Maggard (Alan) of Clarendon, Michele Harris (Matthew) of Clarendon, Bobby Allen, Jr. (Tracie) of Whiteville, Michael David Allen of Clarendon; two sisters, Wilma Pace of Hallsboro, and Elizabeth “Liz” (Danny) Duncan of Clarendon; seven loving grandchildren and nine loving great-grandchildren.
