February 3, 1959 ~ April 27, 2024 (age 65)
Leslie Carol Page passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer. Leslie was a beloved member of her family. Her family will miss her genuine sense of humor and wit.
Leslie was born February 3, 1959 and was the youngest of five siblings. Leslie was the daughter of the late William “Billy” Page and Lela “Pete” Kelly Page. She was also preceded in death by her sister Kim P. Solomon (Red), brother-in-law James (Bankey) Blackwell, brother Mark R. Page.
Leslie lived her most recent years in Whiteville N.C. but had lived previously in Myrtle Beach S.C.
She attended Whiteville City Schools and Southeastern Community College. Leslie loved her family and would make a point to tell them she loved and appreciated them. She was a mother figure and friend to many. Her teachings will live on in hearts forever. her family gave her strength during the trying times and joy all the time.
Leslie is survived by her sister Deborah P. Blackwell and brother William F. (Bill) Page Jr. and wife Sandy. Leslie absolutely adored her nieces and nephews. Heather Y. Johnson (David), Jason H. Young (Ashley). Rebekah Harrelson (Craig), William Page III ( Tara). Leslie joyfully was a great aunt and Grandma Sissy to Alex and Caroline Johnson, Evan Young, Carrington Lovelace (Cody), Dylan, Riley, Willie and baby Ellee Page.
Leslie fought her battle with the help and love from the “Kelly girl” cousins, Sharon Smith, Elizabeth Dawsey, Terry Strole, Gina Ward, Lisa Snipes and Lynn Leonard.
The family will receive friends at the home of her sister Deborah Blackwell (Whiteville) on the evening of May 1, 2024 between the hours of 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers and to honor her memory the family ask that a a memorial donation be made to Lower Cape Fear Life Care at 206 Warrior Trail Whiteville, N.C. 28472
