Carlon “Carl” Robbins, 84, of Whiteville, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC.
Carl was born on September 28, 1940 in Columbus County to the late Andrew Jethro Robbins and Annie Maria Hodge Robbins. He was also preceded in death by siblings, Chester Robbins, Daniel “Coot” Robbins, Murray Robbins, Tylon Vance “TV” Robbins, Elsie Rogers, and Andrew “Pete” Robbins.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Cheerful Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Delco; Mr. Chris Robbins will officiate. A viewing will be held 30 minutes prior to the service on Friday, at the cemetery.
Carl was a beloved CPA in Whiteville for over 50 years and a veteran of the United States Navy, with 10 years of service.
Carl is survived by his wife Dorothy Long Robbins of the home; daughter Seraphina Maitreyi Karlyn, formerly known as, Carlon Lee Robbins of Whiteville; brother, Jerry Robbins (Myra) of Wilmington; and grandson, Seth Robbins.
