Hi everyone, Meteorologist Christopher Cawley here with tonight’s update for Monday October 28, 2024.
There aren’t too many other ways to describe our dry weather story here as strong high pressure has become comfortably in control … and will remain so through the coming weekend. Temperatures will continue to run above seasonal normal values, averaging in the lower 80s Wednesday through Friday. A dry cold front moves through late Friday night with slightly cooler temps over the weekend.
TROPICS: An area of low pressure will come together in the southern Caribbean Sea over the next couple of days. This system has a 40% chance of becoming a tropical system within the next 7 days. No threat to the continental United States.
Tonight’s report is short, sweet, and to the point. There’s really not a whole lot to talk about. Enjoy the extended warm weather deep into the fall season! Thanks for reading, and take care!
