Traci Lindsey Britt, age 24, of Orrum, passed away Saturday May 22, 2021.
She was born in Robeson County on February 26, 1997 to Connie Bodiford Britt and Tracy Britt.
Lindsey was the light of so many lives. Her smile lit up every room she entered. The beauty of her face was only surpassed by the kindness in her heart.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Shelby Bullard Bodiford and Hubert Allen Bodiford and her paternal grandfather, Jesse Livingston “Buddy” Britt.
Along with her parents she is survived by her stepmother and very caring friend, Lea Nye Britt; a son, Landyn Britt Mayers of the home; three sisters, Courtney Britt Sutton (Nicholas) and Jennings Barkley, both of Lumberton, and April Willoughby (Channing) of Bladenboro; a brother, Walker Barkley of Lumberton; two nephews, Lincoln Sutton and Hudson Willoughby; and a niece, Laci Buffkin; and a host of family and friends.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday May 26, 2021, at Mt. Elim Baptist Church in Lumberton, Pastor James Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Broadridge Baptist Church Cemetery in Orrum.
The visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday May 25, 2021, at Broadridge Baptist Church Fellowship Hall in Orrum.
