Jennie Lee Summerford Wiggins Wilson, age 85, of Cerro Gordo, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2025, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, following a recent illness.
Jennie was born on September 24, 1939, daughter of the late Willie Mack Summerford and Susan Ellen Collins Summerford. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Jack Wiggins and Ernest Franklin Wilson and three siblings.
The surviving family includes a daughter, Ruth Wiggins Batten and her husband, Johnny of Chadbourn; a son, Jack Wiggins and his wife, December of Chadbourn; eight grandchildren, Jeffrey Batten (Rachel), Jessica Batten, Jacquelyn Nicole Wiggins, Shelley Page Wiggins., Nicholas Bryan, Nataleigh Bryan, Greenley Wiggins, Dazmynn Wiggins; two great-grandchildren, Jace Batten and Stella Batten.
