Mr. Robert James Melvin, age 69, son of the late Roosevelt and Flora Mae Johnson Melvin passed on Friday, March 7, 2025 in Lower Cape Fear Hospice Center, Whiteville, NC.
There will be a viewing Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Westside Funeral Home Chapel, 106 S Lewis St, Tabor City, NC 28464.
The funeral service will be Thursday, March 13, 2025, in the Mitchel Sea Missionary Baptist Church, Mitchel Sea Rd, Green Sea, SC. The burial will follow in the Stephen-Wright Cemetery, Iron Hill Community, Tabor City, NC.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories, daughter, Latasha Leggett, brothers, Terry Melvin, and Cornell Melvin, sisters, Linda Bennett, Wanda Jarrott, Gail Johnson, Ellen Young, and Barbara Bellamy.
