Margaret Moore Spaulding, age 82, of the Buckhead Community of Bolton, NC , passed this earthly life, Thursday April 10, 2025 peacefully at her home. She was born January 24, 1943 in Columbus County, NC to the late Andrew James and Florie Ethel Freeman Moore. Margaret was united in Holy Matrimony on March 16, 2002 to Willie Spaulding.
She is preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence Moore and James Vance Moore, one sister, Blanchie Moore Hinson.
She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Willie Spaulding of Bolton, one stepson, William Spaulding of Hampstead, two grandsons, Clay Spaulding of Lake Waccamaw, Walter Spaulding of Bolton and one great granddaughter, Oaklynn Spaulding of Lake Waccamaw, a brother, William Moore, her sister-in-laws, Arlene Moore and Emma Moore all of the Buckhead Community, and Pauline Freeman of Lake Waccamaw, as well as nieces and nephews.
Her visitation will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2025 at 2:00 PM with funeral to directly follow at 3:00 PM in the New Hope Baptist Church, Bolton, NC with Rev. Howard Jacobs and Pastor Zach Jacobs officiating. Burial to follow in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
