Rutha Mae Brown Jefferson, 99, of 59 Pleasant Hill Road, Whiteville, NC, died Friday, April 11, 2025, at home.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 19, at Saint Mark AME Zion Church, 114 West Virgil Street, Whiteville, NC. Burial will be in the Campground Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Saturday following the service.
She is survived by her sister, Marion Carter of Whiteville.
