August 14, 1942 ~ April 19, 2025 (age 82)
Rose Branch Griffin, age 82 of Boardman, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at her residence.
Rose was born on August 14, 1942, to the late Amon Judson Branch and Zelma Ivey Branch. She was the preceded in death by her husband, William “Mickey” Mitchell Griffin, Sr. in 2021; and five siblings, Pete Branch, Charles Branch, Herbert Branch, Carlton Branch and Marilyn Inman.
She was a faithful member of Boardman Baptist Church and retired from Smith’s Refrigeration in Lumberton.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at Boardman Baptist Church with Pastor Rodney Evers and Pastor Jeff Stocks officiating. Interment will follow in the Boardman Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
To cherish her memory she leaves a son, William Mitchell “Mitch” Griffin, Jr. and his wife, Sherri of Cerro Gordo; sisters, Carolyn B. Sealey of Boardman and Ruby G. Willoughby and husband, Kenneth of Lumberton; a granddaughter, Stacey G. Thompson and her husband, Barett of Evergreen; and two great-grandchildren, Gracelyn Brooke Thompson and Ian Walker Thompson
