Coolidge “Coolie” Ray Harrelson, age 73, of Whiteville passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, April 24, 2025. Coolidge was born in Columbus County to the late Jesse William Harrelson and Elvia Mintz Harrelson on February 27, 1952. In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by his wife; Judith Brinson Harrelson, brothers; Lawrence Harrelson and Eddie Harrelson, nephews; Buren Harrelson and Jerome Peterson.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother; Homer Harrelson of Tampa, FL, and two sisters; Joyce Peterson (D.J.) and Audrey Grice (Phil) both of Delco, NC.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 11:00 am in Prosper Community Cemetery with Rev. Eddie Watts officiating. The family will receive friends at McKenzie Mortuary on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
