He transitioned on May 4, 2025 at St. John’s Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Wife: Carolyn McGill, children Carleata M. (Tyrone) Bobbit Augusta, GA. Connie McGill, Caroline McGill, and Carnell McGill Jr. Godson Timothy Mckoy all of Brooklyn, NY. Six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Viewing will be held on Friday May 16, 2025 from 1pm till 7pm and Saturday from 10 until the funeral start.
Funeral services will be held on 3pm in the funeral home chapel. 571 West South Railroad St Clarkton, NC 28433.

Burial will follow in the Savannah Temple Cemetery of Clarkton, NC. Repass will be at the Whimsical Building 314 S Popular St. Elizabethtown, NC 28337 at 5pm
