Mildred Watkins Pratt, 90 of Whiteville, passed away August 30, 2025. She was born to the late Vance Watkins and Irene Grogan Watkins on August 22, 1935.
She is survived by her son, Bobby Pratt of Whiteville; daughter, Diane Soles of Elizabethtown; son-in-law, Freddie Soles of Whiteville; sister, Betty Stouffer of Elkridge Maryland; grandchildren, Julie A. Mitchell, Craig Soles, Kelley Soles, Jamie Pratt; great-grandchildren, Taylor Standifer, Brooke Moore, Ethan Johnson, Skyler Long, Chandler Phipps, Rachel Prentice, Savannah Prentice, Ethan Pratt; great-great-grandchildren, Weylyn Moore, Asher Moore, Daelynn Rector, Ainsley Spaulding.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie Pratt; son, Johnny Pratt III; father, Vance Watkins; mother, Irene Grogan Watkins; brothers, Ervin Watkins, Claude Watkins, Charles Watkins, Norman Watkins; sisters, Lillian Hensley, Jo Carr.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday, September 4, 2025 at 2:00pm at Peacock Funeral Home’s Chapel with the Rev. Richard Priest and Rev. Larry Priest officiating.
Her family will receive friends one hour prior to her service at 1:00pm at Peacock Funeral Home.
