In Boiling Springs Monday, the Cougars got the best of the Wolfpack in soccer 5-0. South Brunswick (2-0, 5-5-3) was led by Tristan Baker with three goals. Logan Sanders posted a goal and an assist. Reid Coartney also chipped in a goal for the Cougars. Whiteville (0-2, 2-9-2) will host St. Pauls on Sept. 24, while South Brunswick will travel to South Columbus (0-1, 1-9).
In Red Springs, the Red Devils took out the SCHS Stallions 7-1. Geraldo Amaya, Riley Graham, Edgar Lopez, Simon Apoliner, Xavi Garcia, Marco Tellez, and Francisco Sanchez all scored goals for Red Springs.
Red Springs, now (1-1, 6-6) will host West Bladen (1-1, 3-7-1) on Wednesday. South Columbus (0-1, 1-9) will host South Brunswick (2-0, 5-5-3).

Eagles Win, Knights Fall In Elizabethtown Monday
Despite a hat trick from Ishaq Algozy, the Eagles needed a right corner headbutt goal from Jayce Hatcher to top Union 4-3.
Davian Lewis gave the assist with about five minutes left in the match. Kevin Long and Noe Discua scored goals for the Spartans.
The Eagles are now 3-0-1 in the Carolina Conference and 6-3-3 overall. They will take on Lakewood (2-3, 2-9) in Salemburg on Wednesday. Union (3-2,7-5) goes to Hobbton (2-0-1, 3-6-1) on Sept. 29.
West Bladen lost at St. Pauls Monday 5-0. St. Pauls goes to 1-0 in the Southeastern Conference and 7-3-2 overall. They will face Whiteville (0-2, 2-9-2) in Whiteville on Wednesday. The Knights (1-1, 3-7-1) will go to Red Springs (1-1, 6-6).
