The SFGA tournament held this past Tuesday was canceled due to inclement weather. The next tournament will be played at Cypress Lakes Golf Course at Hope Mills today (Oct. 7). Land O’ Lakes Member-Guest
Land O’ Lakes held its Member-Guest Tournament on Oct. 4-5. Edwin Skipper and Joey Skipper took first place in Flight 1 with a -15. Brandon King and Clay Huffstetler also shot -15, but lost on the 5th playoff hole of a tiebreaker. In the Second Flight, the team of Brian Haymore and Colby Allen won with a -5. Jordan McPherson and Fisher Stanley took second place with a -4.
Fourth Annual Augustine Tournament
The Fourth Annual Augustine Family Scholarship Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 25 at Vineyard Golf of White Lake. The tournament will start at 10 a.m. The cost is $125 per person or $500 per team for the Captain’s Choice (Scramble) event. The tournament raises money for the next generation of agricultural leaders. Call 910.247.6132 for more information.
