Mildred Scott Williamson, 86, of the Evergreen Community, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Greenbrier Assisted Living in Fairmont.
Mildred was born on October 4, 1939, daughter of the late Fred Scott and Estie Bell Barnes. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tyndall Woodburn Williamson; a daughter, Debbie Sue Williamson Edwards; siblings, Alatha, Robert, Grace, Freddy, and Eula Mae.
Mildred was a member of Porter Swamp Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Porter Swamp Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Moore and Rev. Hank Williamson Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will speak to friends prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 p.m. at the church.
Mildred leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son, Hank Williamson (Donna) of Evergreen; sister, Pearl Louise Scott Ivey of Orrum; grandchildren, Hank Williamson Jr. of Evergreen and Jeremy Tyndall Edwards (Nikki) of Morristown, TN; two great-grandchildren.
