Here’s today’s Bottom Line
High pressure slipping off to our south and east will lead to seasonable temps today, followed by unseasonable warmth for the rest of the work week.
A frontal system approaches and then crosses the area this weekend. This will bring SLIGHT rain chances to the area on Saturday. I’m not too excited about the rain chances but I’ll put it in the graphic anyway. The Model Blend precipitation is less than a tenth of an inch for the county through the weekend, so whatever we get on Saturday won’t be anything that will dent the ongoing drought.
After this morning’s frosty conditions, there is no frost/freeze threat through the forecast period. Indeed, temps may be well into the 80s Thursday and Friday depending on how much southwesterly air pushes in.
It’ll be cooler behind the front for Sunday going into next week but the longer-range modeling still keeps us generally normal to slightly above normal through Thanksgiving.
