WHITEVILLE—Whiteville used a well balanced and highly potent offense to overcome a 46-point performance to down Red Springs Friday night 94-64.
The Pack had four players in double figures to compensate for the Red Devils’ Khalif Brown, who lit up the Wolfpack for 46 points on the night including nine three-pointers. Logan Little led the Wolfpack with 21 points and teammate Corey Faison added 20 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists.
Ty’Lae Rose contributed 14 points and six assists and Jahmal Taylor pitched in 10 points. Emanuel Kemp helped control the glass by garnering 10 rebounds.
The win pushed the Wolfpack to 2-2 in the Southeastern Conference and 8-7 on the season. The Pack hosts South Columbus (0-4, 5-9) on Tuesday night. Red Springs (1-3, 3-13) hosts Fairmont (2-2, 6-11) Friday.

TABOR CITY—West Bladen used a 27-8 third quarter to blow open a close contest to crush South Columbus 77-47 on Friday night.
Kendell Lessane led all scorers with 23 points for the Knights, who move to 4-0 in the Southeastern Conference and 13-5 on the year. Jackson Pait added 15 points while Tylik McCall pitched in 13 points. The Knights will travel to South Brunswick (3-1, 11-5) on Tuesday.
South Columbus was led by Khalil Morgan with 16 points and Kameron Johnson contributed 10 points. South Columbus (0-4, 5-9) will travel to Whiteville Tuesday to face the Wolfpack (2-2, 8-7) in a Southeastern Conference game.

LAKE WACCAMAW—Jae’Lyn Ingram scored 26 points and 13 boards to lead North Duplin to a 57-54 win Friday over East Columbus in overtime.
The win pushed the Panthers record to 4-3 in the Carolina Conference and 8-8 for the season. The Panthers will host Union (1-5, 3-12) on Tuesday night. East Columbus fall to 5-2 in the conference and 6-8 on the season. The Gators will host county rival Whiteville (8-7) on Thursday in a non-conference battle.
