North Duplin Boys 62, East Bladen 54
ELIZABETHTOWN—Jae’lyn Ingram pumped in 25 points to lead North Duplin’s boys past East Bladen 62-54 Thursday night.
The Eagles jumped out on the Rebels 13-11 in the first quarter but North Duplin controlled the second quarter to take a 30-16 lead into the half. Keyshawn Kemp hit a three-pointer to pull the Eagled to 51-49 with 2:50 left in the game, but North Duplin hit their free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.
Kemp led the Eagles (5-3, 5-13) with 25 points. Dashon Campbell added 10 points in the loss. Noah Price added 11 points in the win for North Duplin (5-4, 9-9). The Rebels will host Hobbton (3-5, 5-11) today. East Bladen host West Columbus (6-2, 8-10) on Tuesday in a Carolina Conference matchup.

East Bladen used a stiff defense to hold back conference leading North Duplin 44-38 on Thursday night.
Sana’a Singletary led the Eagles with 12 points while Ariel Cromartie added 10 points. The win pushes East Bladen to 6-2 in the Carolina Conference and 15-4 on the season. They are in a battle with North Duplin (7-2, 14-5) and East Columbus (6-1, 11-4) for the top of the conference. The Eagles host West Columbus (1-7, 1-13) on Tuesday. North Duplin will take on Hobbton (0-8, 0-8) tonight.
