Columbus Regional staff will be at the Ransom Center Friday to host a free heart health screening fair.
The Heart Health Fair will offer free blood pressure checks, cholesterol, A1C and glucose screenings, and manual breast exams. There will be raffle prizes, giveaways, educational booths and various vendors.
“This is a great opportunity to receive important health screenings at no cost, ask questions, and connect with local healthcare professionals in a welcoming community setting,” organizers said on social media.
The fair is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Ransom Community Center, on Gen. Howe Highway (N.C. 11) in Sandyfield.
