The Southeastern Fellowship Golf Association played its weekly tournament on July 7 at Land O’Lakes. The format was a Captain’s Choice with 24 members participating in the event.
First place went to the team of Willard Storms, Linwood Hedgepeth, Charles Hungerford, and Stan Matthews with a score of 58. Marvin Eaton, Roger Walton, Ron Tart, and Rob Conway took second with a 59 score, and the John Blake, Joe Canady, Elvin Meares, and Wilber Simmons team placed third with a 61.
The SFGA plays a tournament weekly. The next SFGA event will take place on July 14 at Vineland Golf at White Lake. Call 910.642.5757 for more information.

At Vineland Golf at White Lake, Blake Davis, Darren Heath, Mike Sealy, and Nathan Brisson won the weekly Thundering Herd with a score of -5. The event had 17 players.
