WHITE LAKE—Daryl Davis hit four aces in a row to win this week’s Showdown at Sundown tournament.
The tournament is held every Tuesday at Goldston’s Putt-Putt Course.
With the win, Davis received a $200 cash prize from Nissan of Clinton, a $50 gift certificate from San Jose Restaurant of White Lake, and a $50 gift certificate from Vineyard Golf of White Lake.
Davis aced holes 10-13 and finished with a total of five aces on the back nine to post a 13 score. Davis won the contest with a score of -7. He is the first two-time winner in the tournament so far.
Cooper Padrick took home $115 for second place. Padrick shot a -6 in the event. Next week’s event will take place at 7:45 p.m. on July 28. The prize winnings and sponsors for next week will be the same.
