July 26, 1940 ~ August 15, 2021 (age 81)
Carolyn Sue Lanier Carroll of Clarendon died Sunday, August 15, 2021 in Mcleod Loris Heath. She was born July 26, 1940 in Duplin County the daughter of the late Henry and Bettie Caroline Maready Lanier.
She was a very loving and caring mother who valued and loved her family. We will all miss her sweet beautiful smile that she kept till the very end. We are thankful for the 81 years that God gave us to enjoy her and we are so thankful for that. Mama was loved by so many people here and in Heaven and we are so glad she will be calling Heaven her permanent home from now on and will be rejoicing with all that loved her there. She will be missed by all that loved her till we see her again.
She is survived by a son, Tom Ray Carroll, Jr. and wife, Rachel of Riegelwood; five daughters, Donna Lennon of Clarendon, Tina Kelly and husband, Larry of Delco, Ramona Dexter and husband, Howard of El Paso, Texas, Susan Currie and husband, Neil of Clarendon, Cherry Lanier; five brothers, Samuel Lanier, Jack Lanier, Henry Lanier, Bobby Lanier, Johnny Ray Lanier; two sisters, Mary Joyce Lanier and Sharon Ann Scott; twenty-one grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Hosea Byrd Lanier and Jimmy Lanier.
The family will have a private service.
