Dennis Emmett Carver, 63, died unexpectedly in a motor vehicle accident on 8/23/2021. He was born to Eugene and Joan (Mulcahy) Carver on March 21, 1958 in Cambridge, MA. He spent his younger years in Billerica, MA before the family moved to Ossipee, NH. He graduated from Kingswood High School in Wolfeboro, NH in 1976. He was a goofy, funny, life of the party kind of guy. An avid fisherman, mechanic, logger, commercial truck driver, carpenter and “jack-of-all-trades.” He loved to laugh and make others laugh, but most of all he loved his children.
Although most of his life was spent restlessly moving from one place to another the first half of his life, stability came from the love of his children: Rebecca Lynne, Ryan Joseph, Andrea Meka, Kimberly Beth, Christine Noreen, and Denise Emmell, with former spouse and Cameron McCoy with surviving wife. He remained happily settled in Riegelwood, with second wife of more than 25 years, Karen Marie Carver.
He was predeceased by his father, Eugene T. Carver; mother,Joan H. Mulcahy Carver; a brother Russell E. Carver; and 2 grandchildren, Ezekiel Calvin John and Emma Josephine Lucybell Lichtenwalter.
Dennis is survived by children; Rebecca and Roy Spry, Ryan and Tonya Carver, Andrea and David Kendall, Kimberly and Mark Tyson Carver Lichtenwalter, Christine and Daniel Davis, Denise Dietlein and fiancé Chuck, Cameron Carver and fiancé Chelsea; his loving wife Karen; his grandchildren Kiana Stowell, Kadence and Kenadi Bailey, Landon Carver, Harmony and Noelani Jones, Amya, Tyler and Nolan Kendall, Emmett and Kenzi-Jo “Alittia” Provost, Eliza, Amberly, and AiryusLichtenwalter, and almost here Chance Davis; brothers Eugene “Skippy” and Warren “The Duke”, and a sister Nancy and their spouses; his former spouse Karen (Capach) Dietlein; nieces and nephew; many cousins, other family and friends.
Calling hours will be held at Majestic Funeral Home in Riegelwood, NC on Sept 4, 2021 from 4-7.
Funeral service will be held in the spring, and he will be laid to rest at Chickville Cemetery in Ossipee, NH.
