Lorena Bennett Harrelson Fowler, age 91, of Tabor City, died Monday, September 27, 2021 in Loris Rehab and Nursing Center, Loris, SC.
Born December 26, 1929 in Columbus County, NC, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Clinton Bennett and Clydia Eleanor Turbeville Bennett.
She is survived by her husband: James Wade Fowler of the home; two sons: James Derrick “Ricky” Harrelson of Wilmington, NC and Duane Clinton Harrelson of Statesville, NC; one brother: Wendell Tom Bennett of Morehead City, NC; three grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband: J. C. Harrelson; four sisters: Lana Crockett, Diane Rec, Margaret Garman and Clotel Bennett; and one brother: Calvin Bennett.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Loris, SC.
The family will receive friends after the service in the cemetery.
