Mr. Welton Jacobs 84, of the Buckhead Community, Bolton passed on Saturday October 9, 2021 in New Hanover Regional Medical Center.  He was born March 21, 1937 in Columbus County, the son of the late Willie Jacobs and Idell Smith Jacobs.

Mr. Jacobs was was a carpenter and craftsman.  He was co-owner and of founder of Team Synergy, LLC and Jacobs Construction. 

He is survived by his wife of 60  years, Priscilla Freeman Jacobs; a son, Autry Dean Jacobs and wife, Frances of Bolton; stepdaughter, Donna Freeman and husband Ray of Bolton; brother, Wilson Jacobs of Bolton, sister, Polly Locklear of Pembroke; grandchildren, Devin Jacobs, Makayla Jacobs, Sonya F. Bianchini and Candace F. Reaves; great grandchildren, Sadryne, Raelyn, Justin, Brynlee “BB” and  Brody; great great grandchild, Oaklynn.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Morris Jacobs, sisters, Lollie Jacobs Rains, Letha Jacobs Strickland and Mary Lee Jacobs Goodman. 

His funeral service will be at 3:00 pm Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church by Rev. Michael Jacobs and Rev. Howard Jacobs. Burial will be in the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.

His family will receive friends at 1:30 – 3:00 pm Thursday, October. 14, 2021 at Mt. Sinai Holiness Church.
