February 17, 1937 ~ November 11, 2021 (age 84)
Billy Graham Noble, age 84 of Chadbourn, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville. Billy was born on February 17, 1937, to the late Woodrow Wilson Noble and Ailene Inman Noble. He was preceded in death by two siblings, Boyd Noble and Barden Noble.
Family will receive friends and loved ones at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 14th with the service beginning at 3:00 p.m. at Worthington Funeral Home. Graveside will follow service at Wards Station cemetery located at 5478 Rough and Ready Road, Chadbourn.
Billy retired from National Spinning as an Auditor with 52 years of dedicated service. He was an active and faithful member of Chadbourn United Methodist Church for over 63 years where he served in various capacities within the church.
The biggest blessings in Billy’s life were his steadfast faith, his loving and tight-knit family, and his passion for working in nature. He built a solid foundation of faith and love and serves as a role model for which his family will continue to grow.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 63 years, Peggy O’Neal Norris Noble of the home, sons Andy Graham Noble (Sheri), Keith O’Brian Noble (Amy), Wendell Fitzgerald Noble (Cheryl) and Matthew Wayne Noble (Kim) all of Chadbourn; brother Baird Noble of Chadbourn and a sister Barbara White of Chadbourn; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
