Paul William Hetrick, age 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 15,2021 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington. Paul was born in Harrison, Pa, on July 12,1941 to the late Harold Hetrick and Pearle K. Hetrick. In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a daughter; Karen Kahler, a son in law; Timothy Denton, and grandchildren; Lauren Kahler and Emily Kahler.
Paul served his country in the United States Air Force. He was a hospital chef for over 20 years. He loved to play the guitar and was a member at Union Valley Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife; Sandra Jowayne Ray Hetrick, a son; William “Bill” Allen Hetrick (Donna) of Oathe, Kansas, a daughter; Lynn Annette H. Denton of Derby, Kansas, a step-daughter; Carla Bernice Travaglio Fisher (Craig) of Whiteville, NC and eight Grandchildren.
A graveside service with military honors will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, at 2:00 pm in the Union Valley Baptist Church Cemetery, with Dr. Dave Heller officiating.
