NBA: Last Night’s Action

LaMelo Ball’s 23 points and 8 assists led the Hornets and Mason Plumlee had a 10 point, 10 rebound double-double, but Carlotte lost to the Magic 11-109 and fell to 23-20 on the season. Highlight of the game was a fastbreak where LaMelo Ball went between his legs on an ally-oop pass to Miles Bridges. The Hornets are back in action Monday afternoon in Madison Square Garden, at 1pm, against the Knicks. 

Celtics lost to the 76ers 111-99 

Suns over the Pacers 112-94 

Raptors fall to the Pistons 103-87 

Warriors 138-96 over the Bulls. Zach LaVine left the game in the first quarter with a left knee injury. An MRI is scheduled for today. 

Heat beat the Hawks 124-118  

Cavaliers win against the Spurs 114-109 

Mavericks over the Grizzlies 112-85 The Grizzlies were held to just 30 second half points. Luka Doncic had a triple-double with 27 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Ja Morant led the Grizzlies in scoring and assists, he had 19 points, 8 assists and 4 rebounds.

The Whiteville Boys Varsity topped Pender Friday night 69-47

The Whiteville Girls team squeaked in a win at Pender Friday with a final score of 52-50

No one was available at any location for last night’s West Columbus at South Columbus that was rescheduled from the other night. Whiteville Wolfpack versus Pender. 

All games were rescheduled from earlier this week.
