02/24/22 Daily Sports Wrap Up

MLB:  Both sides met yesterday, making it three days in a row that have met. No end is in sight for the negotiations between the Players Union and MLB. The CBA (Collective Bargaining Agreement) is still the major speed bump in the negotiations. The spring training for the upcoming season has already been put on hold and there is no solution in sight. If no deal is made by Monday, it will delay the start of the 2022 regular season which is scheduled to begin on March 31, if that happens it will shorten the season it will not extend it. If that happens it means that the players will end up making less on the season, due to fewer games being played.
