Heather Nichole “Nikki” Pennington, age 36 of Chadbourn, succumbed to injuries sustained in a car accident on March 22, 2022, while in the New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington.
Nikki, as she was lovingly known, was born on January 8, 1986, in Columbus County.
Final rites will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at Worthington Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Wards Station Church of God Cemetery.
Nikki is survived by her parents, Robert and Virginia Rose “Jenny” Garner Pennington of Chadbourn; two precious children, Kynlee Nealey and Ethan Nealey, both of Chadbourn; her maternal grandmother, Lois Robinson Garner of Chadbourn.
