Nets beat Magic 150-108. Kyrie Irving scored 60(career high), and Kevin Durant finished with 19 points in the Nets win.
Heat defeated the Pistons 105-98. The Heat bench outscored the starters in the win.

Local Sports: Dixie Youth Baseball registrations are going on right now through April 1, for ages 13-14 at the Whiteville Parks and recreation building. You must bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate when registering. The price is 15 dollars for city residents and 25 dollars for county residents.
T-Ball registration is currently underway through March 18 at the Whiteville Parks and Recreations building. T-Ball is for players 4-6 years old. A birth certificate is required at registration. Your child cannot turn 7 years old during the season and be 4 years old before the season starts. The cost is 15 dollars for city residents and 25 dollars for county residents.
Varsity Boys Baseball: The Whiteville Wolfpack took care of business 8-3 over St. Pauls. Ty Lawson had 14 strikeouts and did not allow a hit till the fifth inning. Lawson also had 3 RBIs at the plate. JT Todd had a solid game with 3 RBIS and Bud Baldwin accounted for the other 2 runs batted in. Ashton Hammonds came in to close the door in the seventh inning. More on this game under the sports tab, in its own story. The Wolfpack welcomes St. Pauls to Legion Stadium tomorrow evening. The first pitch is scheduled for 7pm.
