Joyce M. Batten 87, of Delco passed on Friday April 22, 2022 in Lower Cape Fear Lifecare Angel House, Whiteville. She was born April 19, 1935 in Columbus county, the daughter of the late Jackson Batten and Jasia Jernigan Batten.
She was employed with Dupont for 20 years and Blue Jeans Corp. for 17 years.
She is survived by two sisters, Alice Price of Fayetteville ad Barbara Larimore of Arizona; nieces and nephews; her pet dog Christy and cat, Sadie Bell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Evelyn Miller, Dora Gore and Gail Hayes.
Her graveside service will be held Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM in the Flynn Cemetery.
