Steven Benton, age 65 of Chadbourn, passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022, at his home.
Steven was born on September 5, 1956, in Horry County, to the late Harry Benton, Sr. and Elizabeth Hickman Benton., He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Jesse Benton, William Benton, Burnis Leon Benton, Ruby Gobble, Genevia Hayes, Juanita Johnson, and Elizabeth Moss.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 9, 2022, at Worthington Funeral Home, interment will follow in the Whiteville Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 1:00-1:45, prior to the service.
Survivors include his loving wife, Sue Reynolds Benton of the home; son, Justin Travis Benton of Lake Waccamaw; grandchildren, Daylon Benton, and Kristina Benton; siblings, Harry Benton, Jr. of Nakina, Kenneth Benton of Nakina, Bill Benton of Hartsville, SC, Kevin Benton of Hartsville, SC.
