James Lonnell Tart, 64, of 1636 Woodyard Road, Riegelwood, NC, died Thursday, July 7, 2022, at Columbus Regional Healthcare System.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 13, at Welches Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 1733 Millie-Christine Road, Whiteville, by Pastor Frederick Bryant. Burial will be in the Belvue Cemetery in Chadbourn, NC.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Chapel Tuesday from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to the service.
Surviving are his wife, Queen Williams; father, James M. Tart of Chadbourn, NC; stepdaughters, Sherone Hough of Whiteville, Cassandra Corbett and Edna Hardie of Leland, NC; sisters, Kathy Brown of Fairmont, NC and Sherry Bartley of Chadbourn, NC.
