Brenda Brooks Gordon, 77, of Chadbourn, died on Wednesday, September 27, 2023, in the Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC. Brenda was the widow of the late Earl Ray Gordon, Sr.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Worthington Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Cartrette officiating, burial will follow in the Horne Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00-1:45 p.m. on Saturday, in the Worthington Funeral Home chapel.
